“There is a lot of space there. If it had been
built there, it would have served thousands of residents in Taman
Ehsan, Desa Aman Puri, Wangsa Permai, Sri Damansara Industrial Area and
KIP Park Industrial Zone,” he said.
Rudeness is another issue that commuters have faced at the station.
Regular commuter Samantha Mant usually takes the train from Bank Negara
to Kepong station, but recently missed her stop and got off at Kepong
Sentral instead.
When she went to the counter to pay the difference in ticket price,
which was 20sen, the cashier refused to accept the payment and demanded
more.
“She was rude and said I should pay RM1, otherwise a RM10 penalty would
be imposed before I could leave the station,” she explained, adding
that the cashier had also refused to issue a receipt.
Faulty Touch-N-Go card readers have also plagued several commuters.
