Glitches wasting residents time |

 PUCHONG folks are crying foul over the frequent system breakdowns at Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) payment counters located at its branch office in Puchong Utama.
They claim that the breakdowns are causing unnecessary problems for the residents who wish to pay their assessment bills.
As the closing date for payment of assessment bills is Aug 31, the residents fear they will be forced to pay additional charges for late payment.
A check by Star Metro found that the branch had two counters for the residents.
The first enables residents without bills to obtain them while the other is for payment collection.

The collection counter also accepts payment for parking and other summonses issued by the council.
A resident who called The Star on Friday complained that he was having problems in paying his bills due to the situation.
He said other residents were also affected by the frequent breakdown of the computer system at the payment counters.
“I hope something will be done about this so that Puchong residents do
not have to go all the way to Subang Jaya to pay their bills,” he added
Another resident, Yew Kee Fat, 36, of Taman Sutera Mas said the lack of
efficiency at the payment counters was causing him problems.
